About the Author

Born in Madina, Saudi Arabia in 1984, Moath Alofi is an artist, researcher, and explorer. Currently, he is the Head of Cultural Programs at the Madina Development Authority. In addition to directing the Madina Arts Center, he played a major role in establishing the center and create its vision. Moath is also the Founder of Almthba Studio, a multidisciplinary studio focusing on research, tours, Art and consultancy. He is also the co-founder of Erth Team, a production group trained and specialized in safari trips, aerial photography, and travel documentation. Mark Holborn is an editor of illustrated books working with leading artists and photographers worldwide and a writer. He has been linked to photographers working in Saudi Arabia since 2013. He has worked with figures ranging from Richard Avedon and Irving Penn to William Eggleston and Lucian Freud. He lives in England.
