Steve Antony is a highly talented and versatile author-illustrator. He has had a passion for storytelling from an early age, but it was the MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge that really enabled him to channel this passion. Since embarking on the MA course, he has enjoyed creating picture books on a range of subjects from the Queen's hat to a war between rectangles and lizards! He aims to create picture books that are slightly "off the wall", books that children will laugh at and adults will tweet about, but most of all, books that he enjoys.

Mr Panda's back in story number three - hurray! This might just be
my favourite to date; the final spread certainly had me laughing
out loud in delight; and I absolutely love the return of those
doughnuts

Definitely silly, but with plenty of opportunity for a discussion
about manners afterwards should you so wish, this is a fun story to
share

Reception and Y1 children will enjoy discussing the benefits of
good manners, the importance of "thank you" and how we feel if our
gifts are not valued. Writing thank you letters would follow easily
from this and I can see it being a popular choice in Early Years
classrooms.
