About the Author

Bridie Blackett is an up and coming new poet. Treasured, a collection of beautifully written poems, will be her first book. Born in Dryburn, she is 32 years old and a self-employed mother of three. Soon to be married to her fiancé, Rory Red Hodgson, they currently live with their family in Sunderland. As well as writing poetry, Bridie works as a full time child minder. When she does get spare time, she loves keeping fit, eating out and most importantly, spending time with her family.
