About the Author

Andrew 'Beezer' Beese was one of the key figures in Bristol's post-punk hip-hop scene. He carried his camera everywhere and developed the film in his mother's high-rise flat in Redcliffe, Bristol. Beezer's archive is a unique collection of images from the house party scene, the Dug Out Club. St Paul's Carnival and many other events. Beezer moved to Tokyo is the late 80s where he still lives and works as a photographer and runs a photographic school.
