Jeffery T. Kite-Powell is Professor and Chair of the Music History
and Musicology Department at The Florida State University and
director of the FSU Early Music Program. He edited A Performer's
Guide to Renaissance Music and authored The Visby (Petri) Organ
Tablature-Investigation and Critical Edition. His vocal group,
Cantores Musicae Antiquae, has performed at meetings of major music
societies and has also appeared on National Public Radio's
Millennium of Music. Dr. Kite-Powell has been an early music
clinician at the Amherst Early Music Institute and other workshops,
and has lectured at conferences around the world.
