About the Author

David Stevens is the Director of Naval Historical Studies. After training in the Uk and service as an anti-submarine warfare officer, he saw service in the Gulf War. He is the author of journal and newspaper articles on naval history and of A U-BOAT Far From Home (forthcoming).
