This is an excellent book and deals with areas which are often poorly covered in other textbooks on stroke. Brain This is a vibrant book that portrays some of the controversies within the concept of subcortical stroke. Doody's Journal This book is the only comprehensive summary of subcortical stroke which I have seen. It is thoroughly recommended to anyone with an interest in this area. Journal of Neurology
