Reviews

an important addition to the literature on the relationship between state formation and population displacement.
*Peter Gatrell, European Review of History.*

The book will be a bonanza for those who want to acquire a comparative perspective on the development of nationalism in other places. A short review cannot do justice to this rich book. One has to read it oneself and learn.
