Reviews

`Recommended reading'
'Background briefing' list for 2015 Nobel Prize for Physics
` it's a little cracker. An awful lot of popular science passes across my desk, and it's very rare that the vast majority of the content is new and fresh, but that's the case here... it's a fascinating story. Apart from anything else, it's a great example of what real science is like.'
Brian Clegg, Popular Science
`A fine piece of scientific popularisation from one of the best scientific communicators around.'
Literary Review
`Close tells this story with verve and precision... admirably clear and eminently accessible.'
Wall Street Journal
`As an award-winning writer, Close tells this detective story with great style.'
Robert Matthews, BBC Focus
