Reviews

'...an admirable synthesis of policy analysis and political philosophy which makes a stimulating contribution to our understanding of end-of-millennium European politics.' - Michael Freeman, University of Essex 'Philosophies of Integration is highly recommendable reading for anybody who wants to seek beyond established and sometimes locked positions in the ongoing debate on immigration and citizenship in Western Europe and North America'. - Carl-Ulrik Schierup, Umed University 'This well written, intellectually rewarding book is one of the better examples of thorough research and thoughtful public policy.' - International Migration Review '...a book of superior quality that repays more careful study than most of the current works about immigration and the idea of citizenship.' - Michael Banton, University of Bristol '...mandatory reading, not to be overlooked...The book offers an amazing wealth of informations drawn from a wide range of references from the best authors, part of it being critical, and from a rich empirical observation of the field...' - Sophie Body-Gendrot, Revue Europeenne des Migrations Internationales
