Reviews

The authors, as one might expect from an episcopalchurch, include three present or former archbishops, 13 bishops, 20or so priests and 40-odd academics, many of them professors (withsome overlap between the last two groups), so there is plenty ofauthoritative scholarship and expertise here. (Reference Reviews, 1 October 2014) The Wiley-Blackwell Companion to the Anglican Communion(WBCAC) is an unprecedented work on global Anglicanism. Itoffers a thorough account of the history, structures, members andmajor themes in Anglican thought, which is as comprehensive as itis comprehensible. As a guide to the Anglican Communion, itleaves no notable stone unturned. (Churchman, 1August 2014) This is a valuable contribution to understanding theAnglican Communion. Summing Up: Recommended. Lower-division undergraduates through professionals/practitioners;general readers. (Choice, 1 December 2013)
