William M. Ferraro, assistant editor with the
Ulysses S. Grant Association, Southern Illinois
University-Carbondale, is also assistant editor of volumes 1 and 2
of The Salmon P. Chase Papers.
J. Thomas Murphy, who served as
assistant editor for four volumes of The Papers of Ulysses S.
Grant, teaches at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas.
