Richard B. Finnegan is Professor of Political Science and Director of Irish Studies at Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts. He is the co-author (with James L. Wiles) of Women and Public Policy in Ireland A Guide to Irish Government Publications: 1972-1992 Aspirations and Realities: A Documentary History of Irish Economic Development Policy Since 1922 and Ireland: The Challenge of Conflict and Change. Edward T. McCarron is Associate Professor of History and Chair of the Department at Stonehill College. He is the author of several journal articles on Irish emigration and Irish-America. Richard B.
