Eric N. Baklanoff is Board of Visitors Research Professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Alabama.. He is the author of Agrarian Reform and Public Enterprise in Mexico: The Political Economy of Yucatan's Henequen Industry, with Jeffery Brannon, among other works. The late Edward H. Moseley was Professor Emeritus of History and Director, Capstone International Center, University of Alabama, where he was also a former Director of Latin American Studies. He was co-editor of Yucatan, A World Apart with Edward D. Terry.
