Harris L. Friedman is a former Research Professor ofPsychology at the University of Florida, USA, and EmeritusProfessor at Saybrook University, USA. A Fellow of the AmericanPsychological Association and past President of the InternationalTranspersonal Association, he continues to practice psychology andis the current Chair of the Transpersonal Psychology Interest Groupof the APA s Society for Humanistic Psychology. ProfessorFriedman has published extensively on transpersonal psychology andis senior editor of the International Journal of TranspersonalStudies and associate editor of The HumanisticPsychologist. Glenn Hartelius teaches in the doctoral program at SofiaUniversity s School of Transpersonal Studies, Palo Alto, USA.He is editor of the International Journal of TranspersonalStudies and Secretary of the International TranspersonalAssociation. Dr Hartelius has published work in the fields oftranspersonal psychology and consciousness studies, and has taughtat the California Institute of Integral Studies as well as atNaropa University in the state of Colorado. He has thirtyyears experience in private practice as a somatic counselorand practitioner.
