SUE MULVIHILL(Spokane, WA) Susan Mulvihill is a garden columnist, Master Gardener and author of the blog, "Susan's in the Garden." In 1978, she and her husband, Bill, moved to Spokane, Washington, where they live on five acres. While there's plenty of room to grow a wide variety of edibles, perennials and other ornamentals, Susan's biggest challenge was learning what would grow in her new surroundings. Susan is known for her down-to-earth approach to teaching and writing that appeals to beginning and experienced gardeners alike. Her humor and enthusiasm for gardening have gained her a wide following over the years. Her blog can be found at susansinthegarden.blogspot.com.
