Reviews

In His Footsteps weaves together Christianity's early history from the fulfilment of prophecies through the life and death of Jesus and the explosive growth of the movement in the first century. The authors do so by meticulous use of Scripture supplemented by early church traditions. Although my personal beliefs differ from some of the conclusions reached in the final chapter, In His Footsteps is a welcome resource for ministers and teachers, and all who marvel at the omnipresence of God guiding his people." -Gary Goff, formerly six-term District Attorney for the 286th Judicial District in Texas "Marilyn Phelan and Jay Phelan's In His Footsteps is one of the best books written that equips Christians today with the ability to effectively spread the Gospel with its true purpose and intent, teaching us with insight from those who walked with Christ and others who taught and suffered for his sake. This is a must-read for all who strive to preach the Gospel in its true interpretation." -Brandi J. Miller, Pastor in Cleburne, Texas "The book In His Footsteps by Marilyn and Pat Phelan is a needed expression of biblical understanding. It is a concise, logical expression of the early followers of Jesus. It is written in a style that is readable and understandable. The Phelans have made a really good contribution to biblical commentary literature." -Stephan Vernon, Director of Church Relations, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
