General Index
Before retiring, John B. Hilling was an architect and town planner. Born in Abertysswg, in the Rhymney valley, he now lives in Cardiff and is the author of nine books and numerous articles, mostly on historic architecture in Wales.
"A superb updating of Hilling's definitive 1976 survey, the first substantial study of the nation's architecture on my own or anyone else's bookshelf. This hugely welcome renewal is more comprehensive, better illustrated and certainly as indispensable as the landmark original."--Jonathan Adams RIBA, Architect of the Wales Millennium Centre
