About the Author

John Kuprenas is a Registered Engineer and LEED professional in California. He lectures in Civil Engineering at the University of Southern California and at California State University Long Beach, and is Vice President at Vanir Construction Management in Los Angeles. His writings have been published in dozens of refereed journals and in The Story of Managing Projects (Greenwood Press/Quorum Books).Matthew Frederick, an architect, is the author of 101 Things I Learned in Architecture School and the creator, editor, and illustrator of the 101 Things I Learned series. He lives in Hudson, New York.
