About the Author

Tegan was born in Queensland, Australia. The youngest of four, she lived on a small property in the D'Aguilar Ranges. As a young child, Tegan would spend her days outside; running through paddocks, swimming around waterfalls and exploring as much as she could. It was through this upbringing that Tegan's imagination flourished. She was regularly found directing her friends in plays she'd thought up, writing short stories, screenplays and poems and started her first children's novel when she was 17. In later years, Tegan collected credits in Creative Writing and Film & Media courses through study in a Bachelor of Education degree at QUT University. She attended classes through NIDA's short courses program in 2010 and enjoyed participating in the Bundaberg Writer's Festival in 2011. The unique and wonderfully creative book 'A Bandicoot Stole My Grandma's Underwear!' is Tegan's debut work. She has also written a Children's novel and a Young Adult novel, both set to be released in early 2015. Tegan is currently writing her first Non-fiction novel for single mothers. Tegan now resides on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with her Husband and two children.
