Ding Sang Mak was born in Guangdong, China. He lived and worked in Hong Kong for thirty-two years, serving in the Hong Kong Government Civil Service. He now lives in Hawaii with his family, and his hobbies include reading, Chinese calligraphy, literature, and history.
