About the Author

Mads Gilbert is a Norwegian anaesthesiologist and professor of anaesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of North Norway. Erik Fosse is a Norwegian cardiothoracic and general surgeon and professor of surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo. Both have served extensively as doctors with NORWAC as well as the Norwegian Palestine Committee in the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon. Fosse is also Chairman of NORWAC, which both authors co-founded.
