About the Author

Anthony Award Winner and Macavity Award Finalist;
Robin Burcell spent nearly three decades as a police officer, hostage negotiator, and criminal investigator before retiring to write fiction full time. An FBI-trained forensic artist, her drawings have been used to solve a number of crimes, including homicides and bank robberies.

She is the award-winning author of ten novels to date, including Face of a Killer, The Bone Chamber, The Dark Hour, The Black List, and The Kill Order. Her latest novel is The Last Good Place, an exciting police procedural that continues and updates Carolyn Weston’s Krug & Kellog series, the basis for the hit TV show The Streets of San Francisco.
