About the Author

Floyd Talbot holds two Master degrees: an MBA from Pepperdine University and Master of Arts from Western Seminary in California. As a Christian for over 25 years, Floyd has encountered a number of troubling teachings contrary to the Bible that can mislead Christians and whole congregations. Many such teachings are subtle while others are outright hostile to the gospel of Christ. Such encounters led Floyd to engage in research to determine their underlying philosophy and points of departure from Scripture. He first encountered the teachings of inclusivism about ten years ago after reading Gregory Boyd's book God of the Possible: A Biblical Introduction to the Open View of God. That book struck Floyd as unsettling because of its portrayal of God inconsistent with Scriptures. It was not until several years later that Floyd discovered that Boyd belonged to a view known as inclusivism. His encounter with inclusivism in a group Bible study motivated Him to write this book. Floyd has been a lay leader, led small groups, taught Bible studies, and engaged in public speaking on topics in biblical exposition and interpretation, Christian growth topics, and finance. Mr. Talbot has consulted with businesses in financial and business matters over the past 13 years and has over 25 years in financial accounting and business planning. He has published one book through Business Expert Press in the field of finance, Customer-Driven Budgeting: Prepare, Engage, Execute: A Small Business Guide, arising from his years of consulting with business owners and managers in finance, strategy, and planning.
