About the Author

Linda Greiner fell in love with Shelties when doing research on what type of dog to get for her sixteenth birthday. Many years later, instead of purchasing another puppy, she decided to contact the Shetland Sheepdog Placement Services of New Jersey and adopted Sashi in 2001. Hoping to find a suitable brother or sister for "the princess", Linda started fostering for SSPSNJ in 2003. Each dog has a tale to tell. Morgan Spiceris the founder of Bark Point Studio, an illustrator, concept/character designer, animal advocate, ethical vegan, TV/film fanatic, and the proud parent of three rescue dogs. Morgan lives in New York and has illustrated fifteen books while also creating custom animal art for her Bark Point Studio followers. A percentage of a lot of these commissions is donated to animal rescues and shelters across the country. It is her ultimate goal to open an animal rescue, sanctuary, and studio (Bark Pointé) to continue educating youth about the magic, friendship, and responsibility that comes with animal companionship.

Reviews

"What happens to me as a reader, when I open Linda's book? It connects me with millions of people who love dogs, and I feel that love. I am no longer just a reader because I am part of the spirit itself, part of the soul which cares for every dog that has faced cruelty, and responded with love." -- Richard Bach "Author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull"

"Sashi, the formerly shy sheltie, returns in this third illustrated adventure, tackling the issue of puppy mills]]Greiner and Spicer present that dark place with just the right amount of tension, not dwelling on it but not shying away from the reasons Cinnamon has trouble trusting people." -- Kirkus Reviews "Kirkus Reviews"
