About the Author

Jaime Mera was born in Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. He migrated to the US as a child in 1972. Enlisted in the US Army in 1984 and retired as a Counter-Intelligence Officer in 2008. He attended Indiana University Southeast in 1994 and received a Bachelors of Arts in General Studies with a minor in Psychology. He has been a Christian since 1991, and father of two college age plus children. He published his first Sci-fi novel in 2004, Creator, A Superhero Epic (Series of eight books). His subsequent books of the series include: He Is Known as Ego (2006), Guild Without a Name (2014), The Galaxy Is Ours (2014), and Masterminds (2014). He has also published "Doomsday Prepping and Survival: From Civil Disturbances to Biblical Proportions" (2014) - a doomsday prepper how-to book, and religious edification book "Jesus and the Paint on the Wall" (2012). His latest publication includes the 6th book of the Superhero Epic series "Superhumans from the Past" and 7th book "Ultimate Assassins". Although science fiction is his roots, the genres of fantasy, religion, and practical how-to books are among his favorite interests.
