This novel is a classic. I studied this book in year 11, and have read it many times more. The detail and writing is of the best quality. The narrative is slightly flawed, as it is from an eight year olds perspective, but the ideas are still clear and well-written. A definite recommendation to all.

I sat down to read this book the minute it came in the post (which was very quick- Thanks) A wonderful book that I just can't put down. This edition is a good size to fit in a bag to read on the go but the print is on the small size.

This is a brilliant novel. Lee captures the voice of the protagonist perfectly, especially since it's rather hard to portray the views of an eight-year old accurately without making him seem to mature for his age. The story is both heart-wrenching and thought provoking.

‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ is a fantastic classic novel that people of all ages should read. Through the actions and situations explored in this book, the suggestion that people should not judge one another becomes evident. This is definitely a ‘must read’ book that explores the theme of racism in not only America, but also the world.

one of the classics of literature. This is a must read book. It should be a compulsory read in any educational system. You will be fascinated by this book, and I guarantee you you will wish to read this again and again. It is a wonderful book, and a pity that Harper Lee became a recluse after its publication.

Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird' is considered a classic, and not without justification. Though I wouldn't personally call it one of my favourite books, to think of what the society this book was originally released into was like, and what effect this book had, that in itself is reason to read it. However, when I read it, I did so for school. Among all the other students' groans, I found a rather enjoyable book.
Though it took awhile to get into, the story DOES make you want to keep reading, not in any suspenceful kind of way, but just because the book feels so... friendly. Looking through the eyes of young Scout, everything has a nice feel about it. However, I can't say the story is what did this for me. It was Atticus. His character is just so great and he is a real source of inspiration to me. For it's place in history, it's morals and it's decent story and godly Atticus, I recommend this book to all.

In To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee gives us a perfect story for exposing society's ability to get things wrong. Dealing with racism in the couth of America, Lee creates a novel that does not put a foot wrong. One of the best selling books of all time, reading it is a pleasure. Interestingly Harper Lee was a lifelong friend of Trueman Capote.

'To Kill A Mockingbird' is a hauntingly written classic novel dealing with the explosive issue of racism in America's south. It is one of those books that makes every 'must read' list, and with good reason. Don't miss this superb novel. It truly is one of those rare books that opens the mind and the heart.

It is really a shame harper lee has not written any other books apart from this one, which is a master piece (although it is widely rumored that she had a part in writing truman capote's in cold blood), as one of the most well known and widely read books of all time, you can not afford to miss this
