Reviews

This book is more than just a walks book with maps and pubs, it is a veritable mine of information. It is profusely illustrated with colour plates and historic photos, a huge amount of historical detail on points passed, including quotes from the Bristol Mercury, a good bibliography and a history of the Severn Beach Line ... The diversity of Bristol is amazing. A wonderful book which puts each route into context with its industrial past. (From the BIAS Newsletter)
