Author Graham Pizzey is a member of the Order of Australia. Formerly Honorary Associate in Ornithology at the Museum of Victoria, Graham has also been a Council member of the Australian Conservation Foundation and of the Australasian Ornithologist' Union. He is also a recipient of the Australian Natural History Medallion. Illustrator Frank Wright is a member of the Society of Animal Art (New York).
