About the Author

Titus Brown, Ph.D., is a graduate of Albany State University and professor of history at Florida A&M University. He is the author of Faithful, Firm and True: African American Education in the South and co-author of African-American Life on the Southern Hunting Plantation with James Jack Hadley. In this unique tribute to his alma mater, Brown celebrates the remarkable achievements of the many men and women who have contributed to the ASU legacy.
