Richard M. Lapp, the author of The Memorial Cup: Canada's National Junior Hockey Championship and the bestselling Local Heroes: A History of the Western Hockey League, is a human encyclopedia of junior hockey. He lives in Winnipeg. Alec Macaulay is a lifelong hockey fan who lives in Vancouver. Paul Henderson is a keen mountaineer, skier and cyclist. He moved to France nine years ago, where he has explored the Alps extensively on foot, skis and by bike, and works as an English teacher and translator. Paul is author of the Cicerone 'Vanoise Ski Touring' guide, published in 2002.
