(In a review of Oxford Press's new 6-volume "International
Encyclopedia of Dance"): "For a comprehensive account of the ballet
dancers of the past century one would be better advised to acquire
the recent two-volume "International Encyclopedia" (sic) "of
Ballet" published by the St. James Press. It includes full
chronological lists of dancers' repertoires (the Oxford volumes
don't) and seems responsible in its judgments."
