Peter Horvitz and Joachim Horvitz are a father-and-son team. These authors know that baseball memories are a great equaliser for any generation gap, and they built this uniquely informative and inspirational book with just that in mind. Peter recently retired from his position as Chairman of the English Department in a Philadelphia High School and has published over 200 articles in various magazines and journals. Joachim Morvitz has been collaborating with his father in collecting Jewish sports memorabilia for most of his life and worked on writing "The Big Book of Jewish Baseball" for over six years. He graduated from Rider University with a BA in Journalism and attended graduate studies at Christie's Auction House and presently works in the real estate field.
