Brian Froud is a popular and acclaimed artist, whose imaginative portrayals of fantasy worlds and people are recognised worldwide. Alan Lee is an illustrator of myths, legends and fantasy, as well as an author, film designer, and fairy authority. Best known as the illustrator of Tolkein's Middle Earth books, he also did the watercolours for a centenary edition of Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings and worked with Peter Jackson on Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
