About the Author

Dr. Klawans divides his time between two careers. As a professor of neurology and pharmacology at Rush University in Chicago and a recognized authority on Parkinson's disease and related conditions, he has written over 400 medical articles and written or edited over 50 books on medical topics. His first novel, Sins of Commission (1982), was a Book-of-the-Month Club alternate selection. He has subsequently published three more mystery thrillers and five collections of tales including Toscanini's Fumble and Newton's Madness. His most recent book is Why Michael Couldn't Hit. Dr. Klawans is also the author of And Mother Makes Thirteen and Trials of an Expert Witness.
