The archive was destroyed by fire and most of these photographs have never been seen again until now This book selects 350 of these photographs mostly showing houses not before featured in any book on Irish houses A riveting insight into a way of life now lost - only a handful of the houses featured remains as a private or family residence, the rest have been turned into hotels, golf clubs, retirement homes, and even prisons.

About the Author
