About the Author

Julia Wood holds an M.A. in Continental Philosophy from the University of Warwick and has lectured in Philosophy and Literature. Her play about the life of Lord Alfred Douglas received several performances at the Hawth Studio Theatre, Crawley, in 1995 and she has published articles in The Journal of Oscar Wilde Studies, The Pink Paper and Philosopher's Magazine. Due to her immersion in Victorian era clothing and decor, she has featured on East Anglia Television, 'This Morning', and been interviewed by The Independent, The Daily Mail and Woman Magazine.
