About the Author

Author and local historian Ann Hewlett Hutteman, on behalf of the Friends of the New Hanover County Public Library, has compiled a fitting tribute, in word and image, to this historic city at the conf luence of the Cape Fear and Northeast Cape Fear Rivers and to some of the surrounding counties' famous landmarks.
