About the Author

John Canemaker is director of the film animation program at New York University. He has written numerous books on animation including Treasures of Disney Animation Art, Before the Animation Begins: The Art and Lives of Disney Inspirational Sketch Artists and Paper Dreams: The Art and Artists of Disney's Storyboards, also available from Turnaround.
