About the Author

Dr. Albert Ellis, author of more than sixty five titles, originated REBT, the first major cognitive behaviour therapy, in the early 1950s and is one of the world's leading psychotherapists. Founder and president of the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, he lives and works in New York. Dr. Robert Harper is a retired psychotherapist with over fifty years of experience, and is the author and editor of many books and articles for popular and professional journals.
