About the Author

Thor Johansen is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Arizona State University and his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. He is a staff psychologist with the Samaritan Interfaith Counseling Center in Naperville and adjunct faculty at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Johansen is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. Dr. Johansen has published numerous professional articles on topics such as misbehavior in children, psychotherapy, hypnosis, and religion.
