Reviews

"A valuable work for those interested in Chicano, ethnic and southwestern studies."

"This anthology is important and useful for two reasons. For those who were involved in the Chicano movement, the essays provide an important summary of what Aztlan meant . . . For everyone else, this collection of essays is an excellent starting point for understanding the changes in the social and political life of Mexican Americans."

"The political significance of this volume is greater than the reader can easily surmise. . . . Most highly recommended."
