Here is an encyclopedic resource for your Netflix list, one that will aid scholars and novices alike." - Robert K. Johnston, Professor of Theology and Culture, Fuller Theological Seminary, Author of Reel Spirituality (2006); Editor, Reframing Theology and Film (2007)

"This volume includes essays from some of the most important voices in the newly established field of religion and film. The structure and organization make this an ideal text to utilize in religion and film courses, or even to use as a supplement in religion courses with a film component. Organized by Bill Blizek, founder and long-time editor of the groundbreaking Journal of Religion and Film, this book brings together some of the best the field has to offer." - Rachel Wagner, Associate Professor of Religion and Culture, Ithaca College, USA
