Lydolph has brought together the best traits of Haurwitz and
Austin's Climatology (1944) in a coherent fashion. The reading
level is excellent. Depth of concept development appears well
suited for a geographer's treatment of climatology, and spatial
analysis of atmospheric elements is truly global . . . deserves
applause.
