About the Author

Renee Corona Kolvet is a research archaeologist for the Desert Research Institute in Las Vegas. She has published several articles on Nevada archaeology. Victoria Ford is the communications specialist for the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. She is also an oral historian and has worked with the University of Nevada Oral History Program.
