DARIEN A. MCWHIRTER is an attorney specializing in employment and constitutional law. He received a Ph.D. in political science from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut and a J.D. from the University of Texas Law School, Austin. He was a staff attorney with the Texas Association of School Boards and general counsel at the National Center for Employee Ownership. Dr. McWhirter is the author of Your Rights at Work and Sharing Ownership, and the coauthor of Privacy in the Workplace and Privacy as a Constitutional Right as well as the Exploring the Constitution Series, published by Oryx Press. He is a member of the California and Texas Bar Associations.
