About the Author

David D. Morrison is a retired Oyster Bay Branch line manager and railroad historian. The author of four other books in Arcadia's Images of Rail series, he is a charter member of the Railroad Museum of Long Island, and he is a cochair, along with Gary Farkash, of the Oyster Bay Railroad Station Restoration Committee. Morrison has given countless presentations to libraries and historical societies on Long Island, and he still enjoys doing so.
