Her second book, a rap-poem entitled Paw Krolowej (The Queen's Peacock/Puke) won her the NIKE, Poland's major literary award, in 2006. Later that year, she wrote her debut play A Couple of Poor, Polish-Speaking Romanians, which was first performed in Warsaw in Autumn 2006. A Couple of Poor, Polish-Speaking Romanians received its UK debut at Soho Theatre in February 2008.
