About the Author

Born in 1960 to an English mother and Barbadian father, the author spent her early childhood growing up in the Manchester suburbs of Moston and Collyhurst. After living for 3 years in Barbados as a teenager, she returned to her hometown where she has lived ever since. A variety of jobs from sales assistant to cleaning company area manager have helped pay the bills but she has always desired to be a 'proper' writer. She currently resides in North Manchester and is a proud Mum of three and Nana to three beautiful grandchildren.
