About the Author

Michael is a journalist, producer, writer and facilitator with over 30 years experience. His work has taken him across Australia and internationally with leading media organisations the ABC, BBC and Channel Nine. Highlights include more than a decade at The 7:30 Report, writing & producing the documentary series Silent Flood (presented by David Wenham) and producing the award-winning TV series Postcards. He is the author of eight books and has won major awards in news, engineering, tourism, the environment and sport.His most recent book, Chappell's Last Stand, charts the tumultuous 1975 - 76 Australian cricket season.
